As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on our Tools team, you will build the next-generation of applications in the Horizen ecosystem.  

What You’ll Own

• New feature development of tools and products for the Horizen ecosystem such as wallets, block explorers, javascript libraries, decentralized apps, APIs and integrations with partners. 
• Partner with our Strategy, Design, Marketing, and Product teams and provide technical input and knowledge to identify, plan, design, and build new features.
• Break down large scale projects into smaller pieces and iterate on their implementation.
• Work with team members and leaders to estimate effort and timelines.
• Lead the design, architecture, and process of technical software design discussions. 
• Maintain and evolve our company-wide standards/frameworks and work with the various engineering teams to implement them. 
• Mentor and collaborate closely with teammates by providing feedback and helping lead the team to successful deliveries.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years programming experience with modern frontend languages and frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, JavaScript ES6+, Typescript, CSS, SASS, Nodejs, Express, ElectronJS, Babel, Webpack.
• 3+ years of experience in roles that require co-creation with Design, Product, and QA.
• Strong knowledge of databases and experience working with database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, LevelDB, etc).
• Ability to execute on product roadmaps with an emphasis on defining minimum viable products, constant iterations, with frequent releases.
• Experience with writing automated tests and maintaining a comprehensive suite of unit and integration tests.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of agile product development and delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative debugging.
• Ability to learn new technologies and languages quickly.
• Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
• Passion for great developer experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Web3, blockchain, crypto wallets, fungible tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), block explorers, smart contracts.
• Prior experience with Chrome extensions / plugins.
