About the role

We are looking to add a Senior Construction Project Manager to our growing Construction team in Rockdale, Texas. This results-oriented leader will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Riot’s mission-critical AI and HPC infrastructure, serving as the primary unifier between Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations. You will drive performance certainty from site design and pre-construction through commissioning and operational turnover, ensuring our large-scale data center projects meet the rigorous technical demands of high-density computing. Based onsite in Rockdale, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our digital infrastructure and maintaining best-in-class execution across our Texas operations.


What You'll Do

  • Lead large-scale data center construction projects designed for high-density computing and AI/HPC workloads, ensuring infrastructure meets stringent power, cooling, and performance requirements.
  • Oversee contract administration and vendor management for specialized equipment procurement (power distribution, cooling systems, networking infrastructure) critical to AI/HPC operations.
  • Direct resource allocation and project scheduling to meet aggressive timelines while managing the complexity of retrofitting or building new facilities for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and executive teams to translate technical requirements into executable construction plans and ensure seamless handoffs to operations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, maintaining rigorous documentation of permits, change orders, and compliance requirements for data center operations.
  • Demonstrate expert-level problem-solving and decision-making under pressure, particularly when addressing technical challenges or unforeseen site conditions that impact project timelines.
  • Utilize advanced proficiency in construction management software and financial tracking systems to monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation in real-time.
  • Maintain accountability for quality control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of construction and commissioning.


What You'll Bring

  • 8–10+ years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3–5 years in a construction management or project leadership role.
  • Data center or other related mission-critical experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engine
