What You Will Do

The Strategic Accounts Project Innovation Leader supports engineering efforts for Strategic Accounts across Johnson Controls BSNA. You’ll align customer requirements with JCI offerings, drive standardization, and support enterprise-wide engineering practices to enhance sales and account engagement. This role collaborates with internal teams and strategic customers to ensure technical alignment, project execution, and continuous improvement.

How You Will Do It

• Support strategic account sales with pre/post-sales engineering activities.

• Align customer design standards with JCI solutions and processes.

• Provide technical expertise in building systems, software, cybersecurity, and hardware.

• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and mechanical partners to establish JCI as basis of design.

• Develop and maintain design documentation, standards, and centralized resources.

• Assist with server maintenance, access management, and system performance.

• Resolve escalated engineering issues and support field implementation.

• Track KPIs and report on strategic initiatives.

• Promote consistency and efficiency across engineering teams.

What We Look For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.

• 10+ years in HVAC engineering or operations.

• Experience in program/project management and process improvement.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to drive results in a matrixed organization.

• Proficiency in PowerBI, SharePoint, SQL, Office365, and JCI engineering tools.

• Technical knowledge of AHUs, Chillers, VRF systems.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $112,000 - 150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
