Your role at Baxter

As a Business Systems Analyst supporting Baxter’s Respiratory Health business, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the data, reporting, and system capabilities that power a rapidly growing product portfolio. This is a hands‑on, highly impactful role where you’ll translate real operational needs into reliable data solutions, system enhancements, and insights that help teams make better decisions. You’ll work across SQL Server and Oracle environments, support critical order‑to‑cash processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data that drives reporting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The team supports Respiratory Health end‑to‑end, working with patient service managers, operations, finance, continuous improvement, and system analysts across TIMS and JDE. It’s a group that genuinely enjoys working together and takes pride in supporting a business that is growing quickly and making meaningful investments in technology.

What you’ll be doing

  • Serve as a business process and system expert for Respiratory Health applications, supporting daily operations and ensuring data accuracy across order‑to‑cash processes.

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑wide reporting solutions, including core business reports, exception reporting, and dashboards.

  • Write efficient SQL Server and Oracle queries to support data pulls, integrations, and the maintenance of the data warehouse used for ERP reporting.

  • Monitor system health, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable, timely delivery of recurring reports and analytics.

  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that support operational and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Translate user needs into clear business requirements and act as a liaison between business partners and system development/configuration teams (TIMS, JDE, and others).

  • Support project implementations, system enhancements, and cross‑functional initiatives, including work with patient service managers, finance, and continuous improvement teams.

  • Stay current on industry data standards and reporting technologies, contributing to ongoing improvements and future‑focused initiatives such as AI‑driven efficiency projects.

What you’ll bring

  • 2–5+ years of experience in data analysis, business systems, or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in SQL and relational databases preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or an associate’s degree with relevant experience strongly preferred.
