Professional Accountant Specialist – 70035309
This advertisement is for a SES position located in the Office of Inspector General - Bureau of Internal Audit.
Salary: $64,962.56 Annually
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops contract management review plan to include:
- Scope – Determine work that is to be performed;
- Purpose – Specific objective(s) of the contract management review;
- Review program – Specific steps that are to be performed;
- Time budget – Length of time to complete contract management review work through draft report including due dates for critical benchmarks.
To conduct contract management reviews by performing the following:
- Planning phase; scope, program and time budget.
- Performance phase; field work, working papers, recommendations, and draft contract monitoring report.
- Exit briefing; present exceptions and recommendations to management.
- Preparing final contract monitoring report that contain management’s corrective action to the findings noted.
Additional Duties:
- Assists Professional Accountant Supervisor in developing Annual Work Plan.
- Conducts investigations and special projects as assigned.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with two (2) years of professional audit, accounting, or contract evaluation experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
