In this role you will look to deliver sales support, best advice and quality service to Broker Partners. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.</p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><p>• Support and mentor junior staff to ensure accuracy and consistency in underwriting practices, while fostering their commercial awareness and facilitating their professional growth and progression.</p><p>• Handling new business submissions &amp; renewals in line with agreed processes and risk appetite.</p><p>• Development of key relationships through day-to-day interactions with broker partners to support business retention and new acquisition.</p><p>• Handling technical referrals from broker partners, claims teams and other areas of the business.</p><p>• Support Business Development teams in relation to potential new recruiting revenue streams.</p><p>• Maximise revenue generation through delivery of rate carry optimising sales and retention opportunities.</p><p>• Identify new commercial insurance opportunities e.g. Pipeline, broker relationships &amp; visits to brokers.</p><p>• Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and adhere to the units agreed service standards.</p><p>• Take personal responsibility and ownership for delivering on individual and team objectives.</p></span><span><span> </span></span><h2 xmlns:ftl="http://www.taleo.net/ftl" xmlns:htm="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><span>Qualifications</span></h2><span id="requisitionDescriptionInterface.ID1792.row1" title="">:</span><span><span> </span></span><span id="requisitionDescriptionInterface.ID1804.row1" title=""><p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p><p>• APA Commercial General Insurance, with commitment
