QGenda Clinical Workforce & Provider Scheduling Senior Analyst

(This is a Hybrid role and will require some onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana)

This Sr. QGenda Analyst role will be the lead role in supporting the design, build and system rollout over the next 3 years.  

  • The QGenda Project, in support of the unified Indiana University Health Medical Group, will bring approximately 5,000 providers onto one scheduling and on-call platform.
  • This multi-year program will allow IU Health the ability to standardize our scheduling practices by service line.  Taking 29 disparate databases onto a single platform, giving IU Health the ability to report and schedule providers in a consistent manner, based on service line.

Overall, this analyst has the opportunity to play a key role in quarterly deployments of bringing around 350 providers into the system centralized provider scheduling platform.  The day-to-day work and projects involving strategy, implementation support, and QGenda optimization related to information technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the provider scheduling and on-call modules for each service line.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads strategic initiatives in collaboration with IT and business units for the development, implementation and support of new systems and enhancements. 
  • Acts as strategic business partner to identify, assess and interpret customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications, document and test system requirements. 
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.  
  • Works collaboratively with the development team to configure, maintain and upgrade the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other related software under general supervision. 
  • Assists with maintaining the security of operating systems. 
  • Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of ERP applications. 
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

  • QGenda provider scheduling and on-call experience 
  • Verbal, written, communication and documentation skills
  • Time management and project management skills
  • Excel skills and previous analytics type experience
  • Detail oriented and enjoy technology

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
  • Requires 5-7 years of experience in one or both of the following areas:
  • Experience in various business areas and applications (package and custom).
  • Experience implementing or supporting ERP related applications.
  • Requires experience with professional software.
  • Requires project management skills.
  • Requires experience facilitating/leading requirement gathering sessions.
  • Requires experience with process modeling requirements and test plans.
