Cybersecurity Intern - Summer 2024

As an Information Security Intern you will work with Telligen's Information Security Team to assist with our vulnerability management program, investigate and report on security related incidents, as well as participate in policy review and audit preparation. If you are a current or recently graduated college student seeking hands-on experience which will introduce you to a variety of cyber security skillsets, this opportunity may be right for you.
This position will be located in our West Des Moines, IA office and relocation is not available. 

Essential Functions

• You will assist with the vulnerability management program running vulnerability reports and partnering with internal customers to remediate vulnerabilities.
• You will respond to malware/viruses on user endpoints.
• You will participate in security investigations by investigating security tool alarms, responding to support tickets, and remediating discovered issues.
• You will participate in policy reviews and updates.
• You will assist with audit documentation gathering and support.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a college or university seeking a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or related field.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analysis skills.
• Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week over the summer.
