Job Description
Description: This role will work with our Product, Design & Engineering teams to ensure we identify any risk as it relates to overall compliance and develop a clear path to ensure we conform to applicable standards. This role will be focusing on the Public Sector and work directly with our Public Sector Customers (and partners) to ensure we eliminate any Accessibility risks/concerns and to facilitate continued growth in this arena. This role will communicate our Customers needs, partner with multiple teams to deliver the optimal solution & ultimately ensure ServiceNow continues it's journey to become an Accessibility leader.
This role will help prioritize outstanding issues to ensure we resolve any compliance gaps as quickly as possible. It’s also imperative for this role to provide feedback on upcoming new functionality or features to ensure we are not creating any non-compliance concerns. This role will be a champion for Accessibility across ServiceNow and continue to push for the highest A11Y standards possible.
What you get to do in this Role:
- Identify the core KPIs for Accessibility and ensure we create a user-friendly, dynamic and scalable Accessibility Dashboard
- Partner closely with multiple teams to align on a long-term and collaborative engagement model as we continue to focus on Accessibility Metrics & trend Analysis
- Drive new ideas for how we efficiently capture our Accessibility data/metrics and look for new ways to improve our overall reporting UI/UX
- Ensure we’re constantly optimizing all internal and external resources/data to create the beneficial trends that will highlight opportunities and positive growth/compliance
- Create a mechanism for reporting on WCAG compliance issues and help drive/identify key areas of opportunity and/or risk
- Ability to timely identify key wins for the month/quarter relating to both compliance, useability and issue resolution.
- Partner with global consortiums and share feedback and insight on future roadmaps
- Work with multiple teams on the optimal approach to track and measure success
- Assist in driving specific standards to ensure we have a continually improving SDLC
- Drive adoption of Accessibility best practices
- Become a champion for Accessibility across ServiceNow and increase overall awareness
- Provide critical insights and up-to-date status to our executive team (including our CTO and CISO) so they can make informed decisions on program prioritization and resource allocations
- Ability to thrive in a rapid growth, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization and across all functions
Qualifications
Qualification- 10+ years of experience that includes people and technical program management
- Experience working on and a passion to drive Accessibility forward
- Ability to manage/lead teams and inspire overall positivity and a healthy, productive working environment
- Ability to create new teams and help drive specific deliverables
- Having directly worked on Accessibility Initiatives in prior role/s
- History of managing highl
