Function
Within the Customers department, the Sales Operations team is responsible for validating and managing metering data, as well as using this metering for reporting, billing and analysis purposes.
As a Sales Data Specialist, you are responsible for creating, operating and maintaining calculation and simulation tools for Elia's tariff sales. The aim is to enhance the automation of the billing, pricing and reporting operational processes and to carry out analyses that enable decisions to be taken.
In particular, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
- You will support the team by developing and maintaining calculation modules and tools for preparing reports and simulations for monitoring and analysis purposes.
- You will ensure that the source data for your reports and simulations is easily accessible and, if this is not the case, you will check with IT to see what improvements can be made.
- You will communicate the reports resulting from these modules to the internal and external stakeholders and ensure follow-up in the event of any queries.
- You will liaise with IT services during the development and commissioning of calculation modules, both in the event of problems and when integrating a report or module into an existing IT platform.
- You will analyse data relating to tariff sales and take action in the event of quality deficits or errors, in order to resolve problems at source.
- You will be responsible for running calculations and making an initial analysis of the results.
- You will manage and monitor the reporting schedule and make changes to it in response to additional requests.

Your Profile
- Holder of a higher education diploma or a bachelor's degree with a technical or economic orientation
- You take responsibility, are flexible and customer-oriented.
- You have good analytical skills. You work independently, methodically and efficiently, in compliance with the procedures in force.
- You are a good communicator and enjoy seeing initiatives through to completion.
- You work well in cross-functional teams and have a sense of initiative.
- You are fluent in French and Dutch, both orally and in writing. You have a good knowledge of English.
- You have a good knowledge of MS-Office, in particular MS-Excel, and you can easily learn technical software. You have a good command of certain programming languages such as Python, VBA and R.
