Commercial Air Handler Technician

What you will do

Do you have HVAC experience? We are looking for a Commercial Air Handle Technician who have worked or interested in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team and work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge air handling equipment.

We will equip you with safety requirements, tools (required certifications) and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard.

Under leadership direction, you will work on the truck-based team, providing routine, periodic service, and inspections on Mechanical HVAC equipment at customer sites, regardless of the size or location of the HVAC mechanical air handling equipment being worked on.

How you will do it

Install new Johnson Controls HVAC equipment (Air Handlers)

Service existing HVAC equipment (Air handlers)

Troubleshooting, diagnose problems and provide solutions in conjunction with JCI team / leadership

Explain and educate customers on the appropriate use and operation of their HVAC equipment

Documentation of work performed, generating work orders and job reports

What we look for

Required

Associate degree or vocational certificate program and 1+ years of mechanical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

In the absence of Associate degree, high school diploma or GED

·Mechanically inclined and self-motivated

·Ability to travel up to 100% of the work week

100% travel - Typical travel days are Monday and Friday

Valid driver’s license

Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs

Ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred

5 years of mechanical experience

Working knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning operating parameters with a strong foundation in electrical, controls, and refrigeration troubleshooting

Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Valid Passport for international travel. Johnson Controls will assist in the process if needed

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $43,000 - $54,000 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
