Lead Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated, cleared Systems Administrator to provide Mission Essential support under the Consolidated Satellite Control Network (SCN) Modification, Maintenance, & Operations (CAMMO) contract in Vandenberg AFB, CA. The CAMMO contract maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, operation & site support, organizational & depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications and factory/launch compatibility testing for the SCN resulting in reduced Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs.  The CAMMO contract requires employees to perform mission essential functions for high consequence DoD missions during contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency situations. 

 

The System Administrator will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

 

• Providing support for 24/7 missions system software on the Satellite Control Network(SCN)• Perform PMls when not performing mission operations or factory compatibility testing• Review, install, checkout, coordination and troubleshooting of Software Maintenance Actions (SWMA).• Responsible for Password management of all core LRUs• Responsible for IRON database coordination and install• Log maintenance to include pulling lift logs, scanning for data, formatting data and providing for review• Support CST (Customer Tech) programs• Support the TCO (Telephone Control Officer (program)• Support the lead system administrator

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; or Masters Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience 

• COMPTlA Security+ certificationYou are able to lift 50lbs to waist level unassisted; occasionally individual lifting in excess of the 50lbs is required as part of a two person lift for larger items

   

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Air Force communication networks
• Experience in network management and an extensive knowledge of broad-based networked computer environments and Windows Server• Experience with Linux system administration
• Experience with COMSEC equipment

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
