Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Director, Commercial Planning & Operations
Our Commercial Planning & Operations team works cross-functionally within our Commercial organization and across Madrigal to drive and enable the growth of our Rezdiffra business. We lead critical, cross-functional efforts in support of our field-based teams, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new initiatives, and execute strategic initiatives.
You will inform how Madrigal deploys commercial field teams, build scalable processes, tools, and dashboards/reports in support of these teams.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Develop a framework to continuously assess the allocation of our field-based resources
Work with cross-functional partners to optimize our quarterly call plan & alignment management processes
Design and deliver tools to field-based teams to monitor performance and optimize stakeholder engagement
Align Field Operations deliverables, tools, and processes with evolving business needs and ensure seamless execution
Lead Field Operations related training and communication initiatives to ensure effective adoption
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
12+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in a commercial role
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive ideas and actionable solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership and diverse audiences
Previous experience managing small teams preferred
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Experience leading commercial field-team strategy and sizing projects
Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva or Salesforce) and Customer Engagement Platforms
Experience working on Specialty, Rare Disease, or Oncology brands preferred
