We’re TheyDo, a fully remote SaaS B2B organisation, pioneering a groundbreaking software category – Customer Journey Management.

In December 2022, we secured a €12M Series A funding round, with angel investment from industry giants Intercom, Miro, and Calendly. We support and partner with renowned enterprise organisations such as IBM, Adidas, and Cisco, helping them navigate the intricate landscape of customer journey mapping.

We kicked off 2024 with a global team of 65 TheyDoers, representing over 30 nationalities across 20 countries, though this marks just the beginning.

What you'll do

You like to get things right, a pragmatic perfectionist with a desire for performance, pixel perfection, and delightful user experiences. You understand the right balance between code readability, simplicity, development speed, performance, and maintainability.

We're building a platform for design-savvy users. They expect enterprise power with consumer-grade user experience. Your top priority is crafting a delightful, easy-to-use product and getting it ready for scale. Areas where you’ll make an impact include:

• Setting the foundation for our new design system and making the platform ready for scale

• Building an incredible multiplayer experience, everything in TheyDo updates in real time.

• Improving real-time collaborative functionality. Using fractional indexing, last-writer wins, and other techniques to provide a superior user experience

• Making our journey page - where thousands of components come together - a <200ms experience.

• Work on the AI features that will redefine how our customers manage and uncover insights in their data.

What you won’t do

• Do standups and get tickets assigned. We believe in self-managed workers who know what to work on next.

What we're looking for

• An ambitious engineer with a growth and learning mindset, and with a passion for building great user experiences

• Previous experience with complex VueJS applications is a bonus

• An engineer who wants to be at the foundation of a fast-growing team

• A product-minded engineer that wants to understand how people use our product and why

• An asynchronous worker who organises and documents their work

• A clean coder who writes well-structured and maintainable code
