About the role

<p>As Via's <strong>Senior Workday Consultant</strong>, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HRIS systems. You’ll be the go-to expert for Workday, overseeing system administration, configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting, all while supporting the employee experience across the organization.</p> <p>Collaborating closely with Via’s People, Payroll, and IT teams, you’ll act as a trusted partner who enables data-driven decisions and seamless People operations. With great judgment, attention to detail, and a focus on process, you’ll help shape an People systems experience that aligns with Via’s mission.</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary administrator for Workday, managing configuration, security, business processes, integrations, and system updates.</li> <li>Develop, test, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.</li> <li>Oversee system upgrades and releases, ensuring new features are tested, documented, and communicated to stakeholders.</li> <li>Provide Workday training and support to People team members, managers, and employees to maximize adoption and efficiency.</li> <li>Maintain data integrity through regular audits, monitoring, and troubleshooting of discrepancies.</li> <li>Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT to ensure integrations (e.g., payroll, benefits, recruiting tools) are accurate and secure.</li> <li>Drive process improvements within Workday to enhance efficiency, compliance, and the overall employee experience.</li> <li>Document system configurations, business processes, and user procedures to support continuity and compliance.</li> <li>Act as a subject matter expert on Workday functionality, staying current on new features and best practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday administrator experience, with strong knowledge of core HCM modules (additional modules such as Recruiting, Absence, or Performance are a plus).</li> <li>Deep expertise in HR operations, compliance, and payroll processes.</li> <li>Love of creating and maintaining Workday reports and dashboards.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly guidance.</li> <li>Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation and Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience,
