We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for supporting and managing day-to-day HR operations with a focus on payroll administration, benefits management, compliance, and HR systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of HR best practices, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Manage and process bi-weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain payroll records and ensure proper operations and compliance for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings
- Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll and support audits
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives
- Serve as the main point of contact for benefits questions and issues
- Support open enrollment processes, including employee communications and system updates
- HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation and recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed
- Support employee file management, I-9 verification, and reporting requirements (EEO-1, ACA, etc.)
- HR Systems & Data Management:
- Maintain and optimize HRIS systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting
- Develop and generate reports for headcount, turnover, compensation, and other HR metrics
- Partner with vendors to troubleshoot and improve HR systems functionality
- General HR Support:
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and performance management initiatives
- Support internal communication and engagement efforts
- Help coordinate employee training, events, and culture-building activities
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or the equivalent years of education and experience required.

3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on payroll, benefits, and compliance

Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, BambooHR, Rippling, UKG, etc.)

Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations

Ability to adapt to change and collaborate with a focus on problem resolution.
