The Field Inventory Associate supports the local Spine inventory office, Spine Sales reps, and District Sales Managers with delivering integral spine equipment to hospitals throughout the established sales area (usually within a 90-mile driving radius).  This Field inventory Associate will help supply inventory for spine cases within the district parameters and maintain designated levels of inventory within each instrument and implant system. Verification of inventory will also be an integral part of this role.  This role supports spine trauma accounts and will be responsible for delivering inventory on time and to the appropriate locations within the hospitals and surgery centers.

**Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.***   


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Daily communication with Regional Office Coordinator (ROC) and Sales Reps to set up daily pick-up and delivery of surgical sets and implant replacements

  • Maintains field inventory logistics procedures through knowledge of company products, functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures

  • Maintain regional office inventory to ensure all components are available for cases

  • Adjust schedule to accommodate emergency situations daily

  • Replenish sets with needed implants and instruments at the office and medical facilities.

  • Adhere to Medical Facilities Guidelines for entry and inventory pick-up and deliveries

  • Drives and maintains company vehicle to deliver and pick up surgical sets within districts and coordinates the inbound and outbound deliveries at hospitals.

  • Provide assistance and support for Sales Associates.

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Review daily field inventory report and coordinate delivery/return schedule with Sales Representatives

  • Ensures that returned inventory matches with shipping documents

  • Perform the assembly and preparation of sets/kits for surgery/return including Quality Control audits

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience in supply chain and/or inventory management

  • Logistics with a medical device or related business

  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Etc)
