About the role

Role Summary: Conducts complex analyses and reporting in support of general business and technology operations, special projects/initiatives, and/or strategic/operational planning activities. Often assigned as a project lead on business unit initiatives and will enlist support from more junior staff or peers. Leads expert continuous improvement typically over large/complex functions within a business unit and occasionally spanning across multiple business units. Serves in a cross-initiative role to ensure consistent application and quality of the deliverables and ddrives nnovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale initiatives to enhance business value delivery.

Directs development and deployment of strategic analysis and business architecture trainings, the analysis of internal data to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of courses, and improvements to the design, development, or deployment of training products.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and analyzes information to develop recommendations and implement process-related solutions to address business objectives often spanning multiple global business and technology areas.

  • Defines, develops, and implements fit-for-purpose solutions to improvement opportunities. Reviews operational processes/practices, data/metrics, analyzes, and synthesizes the information, then compiles it into standard documents, reports, and presentations.

  • Considered an expert practitioner for complex needs and issues throughout the firm and serves as a coach and mentor to leaders, associates, peers, and more junior staff. Demonstrates skills and ability as an organizational resource to build continuous improvement capabilities across the business by affecting change in organizational design, process optimization, and tooling.

  • Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators, and reporting requirements. Responsible for analyzing and defining business process-related issues, opportunities, enhancements, and solutions. Effectively communicates the underlying meaning of the analyses, which ultimately translate into actionable intelligence. Ensures implementation of improvements meets or exceeds the established key performance indicators.

  • Collaborates with and supports leaders and their teams to ensure process improvements are adopted, measured, and monitored in support of business and technology operating results. Monitors market changes and stakeholder needs and recommends adjustments to optimize costs, benefits, and speed of delivery.

  • Leads special and large projects/initiatives for function or business unit. Manages the scope, expected outcomes, constraints, assumptions, and progress toward completion. Exercises sound judgement balancing risks and making prompt decisions to mitigate the risk in ambiguous or difficult situations. Removes escalated impediments to delivery progress. Directs and assists team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize root-cause issues, translate into solutions, and establish control to continued measurement of business value and identification of further improvement opportunities.

  • Proactively seeks new frameworks, techniques, practices, and tools in the domain industry, sharing with internal team and leading assessment and adoption as appropriate.

  • Identifies and implements learning strategies to address complex needs. Leads the design, deployment, or facilitation of high-quality, innovative, and pragmatic learning solutions to support the needs of the organization. Serves as a domain expert in the creation of complex course content.

  • Conducts analyses on program effectiveness, reporting to functional leaders and providing insights or recommendations. Manages activities to assess gaps between current and desired outcomes. Develops program metrics. Provides expert oversight and guidance to less experienced staff on the design, development or facilitation of programs.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial Services industry experience

  • Consulting experience with a top tier consulting firm
