About the Team
Our business risk control QA team focuses on the quality assurance of the Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) of TikTok, which is missioned to protect TikTok users, secure platform health and authenticity of community experience. We aim to improve the usability, reliability, stability, testability of the whole system and ecosystem through project testing, automation testing, CI/CD, test tool construction and etc.

We are looking for people who have good business sense and good skills in manual testing & automation.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for functional testing and experience improvement, including requirements analysis, design review, formulating test plans, designing and executing test cases, conducting defect tracking and software quality analysis, etc.
- Participate in design and execution of E2E test cases, writing automated test cases and improving user experience
- Understand the tools and techniques used in developing new products and work with cross-functionality teams

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, computer science related major is preferred.
- 3+ years relevant working experience.
- Solid computer basics (network/database/algorithm). Rich test experience in complex systems or products.
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Python/Golang/Java/C++ or Others).
- Proactive, self-driven, and in-depth understanding of business and product.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Capable of effectively communicating with cross-functional teams and independently taking charge of business
- Familiar with Pytest
- Familiar with Golang
- Experience with tool development

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $122400 - $201600 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
