Summary:
The Senior Vendor Project Manager closely facilitates and manages business operations with onshore business units and offshore business partners
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead offshore engagements from inception to resolution, facilitating activities between onshore business units and offshore business partners
- Manage the vendor relationship including identification of risks, leading meetings, tracking takeaways and ensuring accountability of all partners, internal and external.
- Refine business processes with offshore business partners to drive transparency, improve engagement, mitigate risk and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
- Lead daily, weekly, monthly program meetings with offshore vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support and refine business practices in alignment with firm wide and third party risk operating standards
- Develop program level presentations for business stakeholders
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from the vendor to identify potential risks or issues as quickly as possible.
- Lead vendor compliance activities including adherence to established SLA’s, change process, and policy and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of related experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project/Program management PMP/Other certification
- Support formal tracking of program risks, action items, issues and decisions
- Act with sense urgency when facilitating between business unit and vendor partners to resolve issues and support growth and changes within the program
- Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain processes, project risks and issues, to multiple layers of peers and leadership
- Support development of program level presentations Sr Leadership
- Collaborative skillset with ability to work closely with colleagues in Product, Finance, IT, and Segment Risk to understand and meet their requirements and expectations of vendor performance
- Highly organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Develop and track program level metrics
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-directed and able to deal with ambiguity
- Demonstrated skills in developing control processes
- Able to critically analyze data and process to identify issues, root cause and corrective action
- Good analytical skills to monitor and review vendor performance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated follow up skills
