Purpose

To offer comprehensive administrative support to the principal and campus community by performing a range of clerical, organizational, and management tasks. This role ensures smooth school operations through efficient coordination and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the assistant to the principal, managing schedules, planning meetings, and coordinating school events.
  • Provide operational support, assisting in the management of campus systems.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sense of customer service by communicating effectively with campus personnel, parents, and community stakeholders.
  • Supervise the front office, ensuring smooth operations and managing staff assignments as needed.
  • Serve as secondary support for phones and Raptor check-in.
  • Conduct the annual pre-kindergarten through 5th-grade lottery and manage student waitlists.
  • Oversee daily attendance reporting and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Coordinate student registration, withdrawals, and grade reporting.
  • Maintain parent and employee master lists and provide support and communication to families.
  • Manage student record requests using TREx.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the principal and administrative team as needed.
  • Support PEIMS, SPED, and LPAC data management within the Ascender system.
  • Manage door locks, badges, and security cameras.
  • Submit and track work orders for facilities management.
  • Monitor and manage building alarms.
  • Organize and facilitate front office meetings.
  • Actively participate in the Community Engagement Committee.

Required Qualifications

High School graduation or GED. Five years of clerical experience. Demonstrated experience in scheduling, event coordination, and administrative support. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish. One year of experience with the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS).
 

Salary Range

$40,000 + depending on qualifications
