Job Summary/Purpose
Responsible for providing process improvements, standardization, and operational guidance to all of Entergy's Reliability Control Centers. This job also adheres to corrective action program design in facilitating switching, tagging and clearance investigations, metric tracking and suggested improvements. This position will also actively engage in customer complaint root cause analysis and interface IT system changes including representing the Control Centers in all software scoping, development, testing, and implementation.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
1. Actively interface and support all IT system changes including representing the Operations Centers in all software scoping, development, testing, and implementation.
2. Provide Support in Outage Journey Investigations Associated with Customer Complaints.
3. Review, Implement, and Audit of operational processes at the Operations Centers.
4. Promote a safe work including use of Human Performance tools and CAP Analysis Tools
5. Support emergency or storm restoration in assigned Control Center.
6. Identify and address area of improvement for all Operation Centers utilizing the systematic continuous improvement process
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum experience required of the position
7+ years
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Strong knowledge of computers and related technology. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks. Excellent leadership skills. Strong decision making skills. Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities. Ability to work well under pressure. Self motivated and dependable team player. Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and have the ability to mitigate the hazards. Ability to maintain and care for Company equipment properly and safeguard assets. Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service. Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base. Desired: Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and have the ability to enact change; Ability to lead and participate in problem solving teams as required.
