3RD SHIFT Freezer Laborer/Operator - Entry Level (Training Included)

Hanover Foods Corporation - Centre Hall, PA, is currently seeking a Freezer Laborer/Operator responsible for freezing product, monitoring the freezer equipment, and maintaining freezer upkeep.

This position operates under close supervision and is responsible for seeing that the product is running at the highest possible volume with little or no over-temperature product as well as assists with production department break times as needed.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

1. Making consistent checks on the equipment recording all pertinent data.
2. Making consistent checks on product and its temperature.
3. Reporting any changes in recording equipment or the product and its temperature to the Supervisor.
4. Defrosting equipment when necessary or when specified by the Supervisor.
5. Keeping area clean and neat in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
6. Constantly attempts to learn all possible information to qualify for the position of Freezer Operator C.
7. Adhering to common safety practices and procedures.
8. Responsible for execution of food safety, legality, and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such: GMP’s, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
9. Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
