Seeking a friendly and patient-centered Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN to join our family practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.).
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the physician.
- Collect and perform basic diagnostic tests (covid test, flu test, urine dipstick, etc.).
- Conduct EKGs and other diagnostic tests.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree as a CMA or LPN
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Familiarity with medical software and technology
- Previous experience working in a family practice or similar healthcare setting.
