Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Civil-Military Advisor to develop and deliver training programs focused on Urban Warfare Planning and Communications Support for senior leaders and specialized personnel of partner nations. This role requires a deep understanding of modern warfare tactics, staff processes, interagency coordination and planning, pre-hostilities activities, hostile/disaster preparedness, continuity of government, and the complexities of operating in urban environments, as well as the ability to effectively communicate these concepts to a diverse audience. The candidate will understand how to mentor foreign partner nation interagency government stakeholders on how to plan, prepare, and respond to an invading hostile force. What you will do
*This position will be divided into two primary training modules:
Urban Warfare Planning & Special Operations Forces Logistics Training:
- Develop and deliver instruction on Urban Environment Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), emphasizing mission command principles during Urban Warfare Planning engagements
- Provide training in combined arms planning and rehearsal procedures, specifically tailored to support Special Operations Forces (SOF) operational and strategic level planning
- Instruct on the integration of local police forces and Non-Partner Army (NPA) Special Operations Groups (SOG) into critical infrastructure protection and dignitary protection missions
- Train ordinance officers on the planning and execution of resilient SOF logistics systems and support operations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to partner nation civil-military staff officers in National Domestic Preparedness, Homeland Defense, and Disaster Management
- Additional duties as assigned or required
Communications Support Staff Training:
- Develop and deliver training to prepare SOF and civilian signal officers to plan and execute resilient Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4I2) infrastructure
- Focus on establishing joint communications interoperability with all service components and NPA/NPA SOG elements
- Mentor senior stakeholders on communication plans; operational-level Primary Alternate Contingency Emergency (PACE) commo plans
- Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
