The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
Travelers is seeking a Director, Delivery Lead to join our Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) organization as we grow and transform our Agile landscape. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to lead and influence Agile practices across product-aligned teams. The Director, Delivery Lead is accountable for the execution of the Program Increment (PI) plan, partnering with key stakeholders to deliver a portfolio of solutions and capabilities with responsiveness/speed to market, efficiency, predictability, and quality. You will design and improve processes, governance, and workflows, manage tooling, dashboards, and delivery metrics; and ensure alignment across Lines of Business (LoBs), architects, and stakeholders. Additionally, you will drive consistency and visibility across value streams, track blockers, risks, product ownership health, and cross-team coordination, while championing continuous improvement. This role may manage others.What Will You Do?
- Optimize the flow of valuable solutions in a multi-team environment by reducing dependencies, hand-offs, and systemic waste.
- Plan and facilitate Program Increment planning events; ensure work is incorporated in Program Increment plans and capacity is reserved for technical and operational enablers, refactoring, and unknowns.
- Design and improve demand intake, prioritization, and delivery workflows. Ensure alignment across Lines of Business (LoBs), architects, and stakeholders.
- Manage dashboards, ServiceNow enhancements, and delivery reporting. Track KPIs/OKRs and provide executive-level insights.
- Drive consistency and visibility across value streams. Track blockers, risks, product ownership health, and cross-team coordination.
- Optimize the flow of work and help the Circle/Program creatively solve problems to accomplish outcomes by bringing visibility (KPIs, metrics, dashboards, etc.) and championing continuous improvement.
- Build feedback loops through cross-team reviews and engage all key stakeholders, promoting faster learning cycles.
- Drive relentless improvement through multi-team retrospectives, metrics, assessment analysis, and other means.
- Escalate and track risks and impediments to eliminate systemic waste to improve the flow of value.
- Create transparency into the progress of cross-team work through visible boards, operational metrics, forums, dashboards, etc.
- Manage cross-team dynamics. Coordinate team building and cross-team communication.
- Promote and teach effective software delivery practices.
- Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years of experience in an agile/execution role delivering technology solutions on a demanding schedule including delivery of several epics, releases and versions and application of a wide variety of patterns and techniques (i.e., multi-team planning techniques, facilitating retrospectives, dependency management, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Agile Planning capabilities and Jira.
- Experience working with various Agile methodologies such as Scrumban, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Programming/development experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge and a deep strategic mindset preferred.
- Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data preferred.
