The System Administrator must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks. They will be responsible for organizing supporting our company’s computer systems. The System Administrator will oversee and maintain factory information systems. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware. The System Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, webservers, and PCs that support the factory.

** This position is onsite in Largo, FL. **

What YOU will do:

• You will make recommendations for future upgrades and changes to policy

• You will troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues

• You will evaluate and adjust system’s performance

• You will maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers

• You will maintain integrity of the server deployment, and security

• You will ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is consistent with Raytheon security practices

• You will perform network address assignment

• You will assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services (e.g. LDAP and/ or Active Directory)

• You will administer servers, factory computers, printers, software deployment, security updates and patches

• You will implement and support cybersecurity settings on network and stand-alone workstations

Qualifications you must have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

• Experience with Windows 10 computer refreshes and migration

• Extensive experience as a System Administrator supporting Windows workstation/server operating systems

• Proficient skills with supporting Microsoft Windows workstations

• Proficient skills with Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support

• Proficient skills with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

• Experience hardening systems

• Proficiency with NAS storage

• Proficiency in administering VMware, vCenter, and vSphere

• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

• Extensive experience supporting an Enterprise IT Infrastructure

Qualifications We Prefer:

• CompTIA Security+

• Experience with DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) 252.204-7012

• Experience safeguarding Covered Defense Information (CDI) and Cyber Incident Reporting

• Basic Safeguarding of Covered Contractor Information Systems

• Automation via scripting (e.g. Powershell or Batch file)

• Familiarity working in VM environments
