Due to growth, we are adding a Principal, Product Strategy - Health Plan to our Marketing department!
The Principal, Product Strategy is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and execution of disciplined, enterprise-aligned product design, development, go-to-market, and governance initiatives. This forward-thinking leader will execute with excellence, influence cross-functional stakeholders, drive innovation, and ensure connection between market-solutioning initiatives and the organization’s long-term vision and business objectives.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
- Lead the development and implementation of product strategies and roadmaps that bolster the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) product offering across market segments and align to corporate objectives and market demands.
- Build consensus, deploy, and manage best practices for product development, ensuring solutions are recognized as innovative, user-centric, and informed by market insights. Leverage change management principles applicable to product rollouts, including communication planning, stakeholder alignment, and impact assessments.
- Oversee the product portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, resource allocation, and return on investment (ROI).
- Serve as a critical point of coordination, working in partnership with cross functional stakeholders to inform ideation and validation to launch, refinement, and sunset. Ensure timely and high-quality go-to-market execution by facilitating delivery of standard tools and practices for successful adoption and execution.
- Guide and/or conduct (in)formal market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and inform product strategy decisions. Stay abreast of and understand industry, marketplace, and legal developments and their impact on the business. Will translate current and emerging market needs into product expansion, enhancement, and/or new product concepts/business cases.
- Advocate for the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Lead and/or influence stakeholder feedback sessions and support synthesized insights toward market-informed product initiatives.
- Develop product roadmaps based on the product vision and market research. The roadmap will outline the strategic direction of the product, including feature prioritization, release timelines, and critical milestones.

Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare or closely related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or related field is required.
- 5+ years of indirect influence, coaching, mentoring, and/or management experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in health plan, PBM, or health care industry preferred.
- Experience and expertise in new product development, end-to-end product management, project management, marketing, sales, and/or strategic planning required.
- A proven track record of tangible success, including leadership and team collaboration/ relationship-building/management in a health care or related environment is required.
- Experience communicating across multiple organization levels, including executive level, is essential.
