This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Research Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and fine-tuning multimodal vision/language/action models for downstream robotic tasks
  • Designing pipelines that fuse multi-sensor imaging and kinematic signals into unified spatial representations
  • Connecting perception to planning and control through VLA-based policies and agentic AI decision-making frameworks

This position may suit you best if you’re familiar with the following and would like to develop your skills with Siemens Healthineers:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
  • Demonstrated research experience in computer vision, deep learning, or multimodal machine learning (e.g., publications, projects, or advanced coursework)

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States OR Has graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her exchange visitor program start date.

The base pay range for this position is:

$59,800 - $92,092

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
