Schedule:
12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, with rotating weekends.
Position Overview:
Join our patient dining team and play a vital role in delivering excellent care! You’ll oversee meal service for patients, instruct them on the meal ordering system, and ensure accuracy for special diet needs. Using food preference data and technology, you’ll place bedside or phone orders and document food intake to support nutrition care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee meal service in a professional and efficient manner
- Assist patients with meal ordering and explain the system
- Place orders using bedside technology or by phone
- Ensure accuracy of trays for patients with special diets
- Document food intake for nutrition care
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Requires experience in a customer service function; with a minimum of one year experience working with the public.
- Serve Safe Food Protection Manager Certification (or obtain within 6 months)
- Knowledge of diet therapy or willingness to learn
- Ability to use computers and mobile devices
