$87,272.00 - $110,239.00Position Purpose
Reporting to the Director, Global Partnerships, leads market development activities in specifically assigned geographical regions through continued market intelligence efforts, the development and implementation of strategies and tactics targeted towards said geographical regions, including measuring and assessing the return on investments of institutional efforts deployed. Responsible for identifying and fostering meaningful on and off-campus partnerships both domestically and abroad in specifically assigned geographical regions, with the ultimate goals of advancing the University’s strategic vision for internationalization, generating revenue, and strengthening the University’s presence on a global stage. Facilitates good relations between the University community and different external partners in a given region of responsibility. The incumbent will represent the University as it relates to partnerships in the region of responsibility.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Be responsible for the development, implementation and advancement of strategies and tactics.
- Initiate, develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships and collaborations with new and existing partners.
- Provide strategic advice and help guide the broader University community as regards international partnerships and collaborations.
- Identify, develop and execute new sponsorship, scholarship, and partnership programs based on business-data analysis.
What you will bring:
- Master's degree in business, marketing, international relations or other relevant fields.
- At least 5 years related experience in a university setting in partnership development, governance, international education, marketing, student recruitment, or other related experiences.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise of the region of responsibility acquired through substantial academic, professional or personal experience with the region.
- Proven experience with the use of analytical methods.
- Demonstrated success and strong business and partnership development skills, preferably in the international education industry. Proven ability to innovate and create long-term relationships are essential.
- Experience navigating conflicting interests and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements.
- Understanding of the nature and needs of post-secondary institutions, government agencies, and public and private education organizations in Canada and around the world.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various clients and team members. Ability to clearly present information in writing to internal and external parties.
- Motivated and driven to identify and develop new opportunities
- Proactive, autonomous and able to work with limited supervision.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with the use of a CRM and SIS system.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and abroad as well work outside of regular business hours or on weekends.
- Ability to foster and maintain effective relationships.
- Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of additional languages used in the region of responsibility is an asset.
