Entry-Level Consulting Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties

 

• Assist managers in all day-to-day processes, repair, analysis, and communication.
• Effectively communicate technical information with sales and customers.
• Inspect damaged products to determine causes of failure and the cost of repairs.
• Program and troubleshoot Keyence equipment with customers.
• Reporting to upper management and National Product Directors.
• Complete projects and measurable impact to efficiency, cost savings, or profitability.
• Possible travel or international travel up to several weeks per year.
• Lead a small team and give members feedback upon completion of tasks.  

 

Requirements and Qualifications

 

• Bachelors degree. Preferably in a science or technical related field.
• Previous hands on experience with technical products preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.   
• Ability to use hand tools and electronic devices.
• Technical writing experience.

• Ability to lift 30 - 70 lbs. of equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
