IT Strategic Director Commercial

Under the direction of the VP of Finance & Accounting working along with the VP of Operations & VP of Customer Service, the IT Strategic Director’s responsibilities include developing and implementing the information technology strategy to support the overall business objectives of the organization. This role requires a leader with strong technical expertise and business acumen to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage through technology within the framework of the Global IT standard with advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft CRM. The successful candidate will partner with Global IT, Product teams, Sales and Operational areas to improve business insights of systems and software operational activities while supporting the users and departments as it relates to business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

· Develop and execute the IT strategy and roadmap for the US commercial business aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

· Drive Continuous Improvement and Project Management related to technologies of the business working with the Global IT team.

· Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvements with respect to the needs of the organization with emphasis on SAP and Microsoft CRM as the main operating systems of the organization.

· Facilitate cross-functional meetings with key users to identify opportunities and execute key initiatives with SAP and CRM.

Technology Management:

· Partner with the Global IT department to oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology systems and infrastructure.

· Partner with the Global IT department to ensure the security, integrity, and efficiency of the IT environment as it pertains to the organization.

· Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.

· Identify and oversee integrations of technologies necessary for business growth and development. 

· Stay abreast of new technologies and emerging functionalities; recommend implementation as appropriate to senior leadership team.

· Work with US leadership team to identify and communicate global project prioritization; liaise with global IT on leadership’s behalf.

Business Alignment:

· Collaborate with senior management to understand business needs and objectives.

· Translate business requirements into effective IT solutions.

· Ensure IT initiatives provide maximum value and support for business processes and operations.

· Oversee solutions and services of third part partners as it relates to continuous improvement and business development. 

Budgeting and Financial Management:

· Partner with Global IT to develop and manage the organization’s IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

· Monitor and control IT expenditures to ensure alignment with the financial goals of the organization.

Risk Management:

· Partner with the Global IT department to identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

· Partner with the Global IT department to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Performance Measurement:

· Partner with the Global IT department to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

· Report on IT performance to senior management and stakeholders.

Other Job Functions:

· Occasional travel may be required to meet with vendors, attend conferences, or visit other company locations.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

· Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role.

· Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align IT strategies with business goals.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and projects

· Strong project management skills and experience with implementing large-scale IT projects.

· Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, and their potential impact on the org
