Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for someone with a solid background in diesel and gasoline-powered equipment, diagnostics, heavy-duty repairs, and fabrication. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, team-oriented, and ready to take on challenges in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on a variety of equipment including trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules.
• Carry out welding and fabrication work, including frame repair, custom part fabrication, and structural reinforcements.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure safety protocols are always followed.
• Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
• Repair knowledge of general part replacement such as air compressors, alternators, and cooling systems repair a plus.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools (OEM scan tools, multimeters, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• 2-3 years of experience with a willingness to learn
• Opportunity for advancement as our fleet grows.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding and fabrication preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical and wiring diagnostics.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications are a highly desirable.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license – CDL a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
