Position Summary
As a Senior Coordinator Logistics associate, you will be a key member of the warehouse team and will keep activities running smoothly and effectively. You will maintain the daily shipping and production schedule by ensuring all administrative requirements are controlled in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish order picking and loading priorities to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Print pick lists and assign them to forklift operators in a manner that ensures on time load-out and efficient warehouse operation.
- Utilizes the SAP EWM dock schedule and open order file, weekly manufacturing schedule, trailer pad report, and other information tools to review, evaluate, and coordinate the warehouse order processing workload.
- Provide systems technical assistance to forklift operators by resolving EWM exceptions, RF problems, inventory and location variances, and other situations which arise during normal warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with Operations Planning Department to resolve product and order related issues such as product age requirements, order adjustments to meet trailer capacity restrictions, scheduling return of needed product from 3rd party warehouses, etc.
- Coordinate dock operations, including dock door assignment and trailer spotting to ensure maximum utilization of available dock capacity, proper load sequencing and efficient, timely load-out. Maintain the inventory of dropped trailers and updates trailer status as changes occur. Coordinates with Transportation Department to ensure sufficient dropped trailers and rail cars will be available to meet load-out timeframes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years’ clerical and/or production experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, military, or related environment preferred
OTHER
- Must be available for all shifts
The approximate pay range for this position is $44,000-59,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
