About the role

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition and HR Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Talent Acquisition and Human Resources departments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with various administrative tasks and contribute to the smooth functioning of our HR operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and maintaining applicant tracking system records.
  • Assist in managing job postings on various job boards and our company website, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate the pre-employment process, including conducting background checks and verifying employment references.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain HR records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of employee data.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating HR events and employee engagement activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Assist in generating HR reports and maintaining HR metrics for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance.

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a talent acquisition or HR department.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance.
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $50,000-$70,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
