We’re looking for an experienced full-stack web developer who is unafraid to take challenges with modernizing a large legacy stack and expanding the artist services ReverbNation provides to millions.

While we are remote-friendly, with team members on every continent worldwide, we still synchronize our meetings with the HQ in Singapore. So depending on where you are, you should be ready to join discussions and meetings during unusual hours.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day development and maintenance of the core product (ReverbNation)
• Development and maintenance of APIs and services to facilitate the integration of ReverbNation products to BandLab
• Maintenance of operational infrastructure
• Investigation of incidents and upper-level issues identified by the Community Support team
• Tight collaboration within a cross-functional team on multiple levels - from reviewing user stories and story mapping product and design to engineering new APIs and features with the rest of the engineering
• Modernize the code base and infrastructure to cloud native solutions

Requirements

Essential

• 3+ years as a full stack engineer on a large-scale project
• Experience with Ruby on Rails applications is a must
• Experience with Angular, Vue.js, and custom HTML/JS
• Strong communication skills, we like to have team discussions where everyone participates
• Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills
• The ability to plan and roughly estimate stories is vital

Bonus Points

• Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Redis
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible

• Experience with the integration of payment gateways is a huge bonus point
