**Continuous Posting** Daily Substitutes (Grades K - 12) Needed!

Farmington Public Schools is hiring for daily substitutes in our schools!
Pick the days you work and grade levels/subjects you wish to substitute for!

 

Requirements: Daily subs must have a high school diploma and experience working with children
Daily substitute pay rates are as follows:

 

                   New Substitutes: $124 per day ($134 per day if certified as a teacher by the State of CT)

 

                   After One Year of Experience: $129 per day

 

                   After Two Years of Experience:$134 per day

 

 

 

Farmington uses the online substitute placement system called Frontline Absence Management. 
Sub assignments may be obtained via telephone, internet, or app.
Substitute positions for teachers and paraprofessionals are available.

 

 

 

Application Procedure: Apply online at www.fpsct.org/district. Applicants must submit two professional references and a copy of Bachelor degree transcripts, if applicable.
Selection Procedure: All materials must be submitted for a substitute applicaiton before a candidate is contacted for a daily sub interview.

Applicants approved as substitutes must be fingerprinted within 30 days of approval.
