(Senior) Quality & Regulatory Specialist – Cosmetics & Aroma (all genders)

Your role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable (Senior) Quality & Regulatory Specialist to oversee compliance, safety, and quality assurance for our aromatherapy and cosmetic products. The ideal candidate will ensure that all formulations, packaging, labeling, and marketing materials adhere to relevant regulations, including EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, ISO standards, and IFRA guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of cosmetic safety, ingredient restrictions and regulatory submissions. When it comes to aromatherapy products, we pay particular attention to high quality such as organic products and cosmos certifications.

• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements (EU, IFRA, REACH) for cosmetics, aromatherapy, and essential oil-based products
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to formulations, labels, and documentation
• Prepare and maintain PIFs, SDSs, CPSRs, and support Cosmos/EcoCert certifications
• Collaborate with R&D to review formulations for compliance and safety
• Manage quality-related projects, including customer complaint investigations and corrective actions
• Support audits and cross-functional projects, including occasional travel to Poland for collaboration

Your profile

• 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or quality assurance in cosmetics, aromatherapy, or related industries
• Strong knowledge of EU cosmetics regulations, IFRA standards, Cosmos / EcoCert certifications
• Proven experience with regulatory documentation: PIFs, SDSs, CPSRs
• Skilled in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and audit processes
• Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, and Production teams
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and strong communication abilities
