Legacy Mutual Mortgage is an outstanding full service residential mortgage lender originating, underwriting and closing conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA and USDA mortgage loans. The Production Associate III will be an extension of the loan originator by managing new and existing leads. The Production Associate III must be able to pre-qualify borrowers. The position requires skills surrounding time management, communication, follow up, organization and a working knowledge of borrower qualification. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00, Days and/or hours may vary and/or subject to change based on client need.

Essential Functions Include:  

• Manage and follow up with leads in a timely and accurate manner.
• Enter loan application information into a loan origination system. 
• Thoroughly reviews applications to determine  qualification and issue prequalification letter. 
• Sets appointments for clients with the loan officer.
• Manages the data integrity of the CRM. 
• Provides preliminary needs list of items for a complete loan application.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of mortgage, processing, underwriting, originating experience or a combination of all aspects.
• Must be eligible for NMLS registration and licensing, or currently have an active Loan Origination NMLS. 
• Must      be able to work 40 hours a week during normal business hours.
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
• Proficient in DU/DO, LP, and major Origination systems.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision. 
• Proficient with major correspondent and wholesale channels and their guidelines.
• Must maintain regular attendance.
