Join Our Team as a Respite Provider in Eau Claire, WI!Weekday Afternoons & Occasional Weekend Evenings
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in a child’s life? Do you enjoy hands-on caregiving and creating fun, supportive environments? We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Respite Provider to support a young boy in Eau Claire with his daily routine and adventures!
About the Role:You’ll be an important part of his world—helping with daily care, supervising exciting outings, and sharing in his favorite hobbies like swimming, playing with his pets, and exploring the Children’s Museum. Your role is to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging support during weekday afternoons and some weekend evenings.
What You’ll Do:• Assist with bathing, toileting, and meal prep• Administer medications as needed• Supervise and join in fun outings and recreational activities• Provide attentive, compassionate interaction and support• Create a safe, patient, and welcoming environment
What We’re Looking For:• Someone comfortable around pets (our home is pet-friendly!)• A kind, patient, and proactive caregiver• Experience with behavioral challenges is a bonus, but not required!
Requirements:• 18 years or older• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation• Ability to pass background checks• Legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation:• $17.66 per hour for shifts under 8 hours• $256.00 per day for shifts over 8 hours
