Job Description

This role can be based in San Francisco or Chicago offices.

We are looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, your team will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within our newest sales motion, that prospects into online customers and looks to convert them into corporate accounts.

 

You will be a frontline manager of sales development representatives focused on building corporate sales pipeline and achieving individual, team and regional quotas. You will partner closely with marketing on demand generation programs and campaigns and collaborate to develop the corporate sales strategy and drive key initiatives to achieve sales objectives. 

 

The right candidate for this role has experience in SaaS sales at the enterprise level, is a passionate coach, has experience managing projects that have successfully scaled and grown, and a leader among their peers.   

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage, hire, train and ramp a team of sales development representatives  

  • Develop and coach representatives in their careers towards future account executive roles  

  • Lead through LinkedIn’s culture and values—be a culture carrier  

  • Proactively identify and launch initiatives to drive both new business development growth and operational excellence  

  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets  

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 4+ years of enterprise SaaS experience as an individual contributor with a demonstrated track record of over achievement against quota OR

  • 1+ years of experience managing an inside sales or sales development team in an Internet or SaaS company

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Excellent communication, teamwork and people management skills  

  • Ability to develop talent  

  • Ability to build pipeline and achieve revenue targets   

  • Ability to drive and manage cross-functional initiatives at scale 

  • Project management 

  • Strong sales coach 

  • Experience in the Human Resources (HR) segment 

  • Growth mindset and ability to lead through change

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $131,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
