Job Description

Base pay rate is $20.00 per hour

1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:00PM

Position Overview: Loader

The Loader is a key member of the production and shipping team, responsible for safely loading finished metal panels onto trucks for delivery. This role involves operating material handling equipment and ensuring accurate, damage-free shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load metal roofing and wall panels onto trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Operate a Combi-Lift and forklift to transport and stage materials for loading
• Use RF scanners to accurately pack and verify orders before shipment
• Ensure all loads are secured properly and meet shipping requirements
• Inspect materials for quality and report any damage or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records in the system
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Assist in other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to operate a forklift and COMBI-lift
• Ability to work independently and with others
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 65 lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
• Noise level is moderate to loud
