The Vice President, Product VIS HAL, is a global strategic leader responsible for driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence within the Automotive vertical of the logistics network. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing the vertical’s strategy, aligning solutions with evolving market needs, and positioning the company as the logistics provider of choice. With significant influence across key functional areas, the VP serves as a global ambassador of the company's Automotive vertical, ensuring business outcomes align with the company’s vision.

 

 

 

About the Job

• Defines and executes a comprehensive global strategy for the Automotive vertical, addressing key segments such as OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, EV, and aftermarket.

• Drives global revenue growth by leading vertical-specific sales strategies and fostering long-term partnerships with major automotive clients.

• Leads the design and deployment of innovative, end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to the unique needs of the automotive supply chain.

• Monitors and manages the vertical’s financial performance, ensuring profitability, ROI, and alignment with strategic investment priorities.

• Oversees cross-functional team performance to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and compliance across global operations.

• Fosters innovation by identifying emerging industry trends and translating them into differentiated, technology-enabled value propositions.

• Guides and mentors senior leadership within the vertical, building a high-performing global team and cultivating a culture of accountability and collaboration.

• Represents the vertical at key industry events and public forums to strengthen brand positioning and promote thought leadership in the automotive logistics space.

About You

• Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required, MBA preferred

• 15+ years of experience in Automotive, logistics, supply chain, or transportation

• At least 5 years in senior leadership role

• Proven success leading a global product vertical or P&L in the automotive sector

• Deep understanding of automotive logistics requirements (e.g., JIT/JIS, sequencing, EV trends)

• Experience in working in a matrixed, multicultural environment

• Strong strategic thinking and market analysis capability

• Outstanding communication and executive presence

• Commercial acumen and client relationship management

• Ability to lead global teams and influence cross-functional stakeholder

• Used to global travelling

• Proficient in English
