We’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a wide range of Human Resources activities and help strengthen an engaging, compliant, and high-performing workplace. This is an onsite position that can be performed in our Gainesville or Tallahassee office.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of HR experience (or related field) with a solid understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law
- Ability to manage multiple priorities proactively, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to draft policies, procedures, business correspondence, and reports
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- High computer proficiency, including email, MS Office, HRIS, (UKG preferred) and related business/communication tools
Summary of Responsibilities
As our HR Generalist, you’ll support key HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including:
- Provide support across HR topics such as employment practices, compliance, performance management, employee relations, training, workplace issues, and employee engagement
- Proactively research, develop, revise, and recommend HR best practices, policies, and procedures
- Support end-to-end onboarding, ensuring consistent and transparent communication between new hires, hiring leaders, talent acquisition, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate new-hire paperwork and onboarding items, ensuring legal and Firm compliance and timely completion
- Assist with benefits administration and enrollment, including medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability
- Serve as a liaison between employees, broker, and providers to resolve general benefit questions
- Process enrollments for new hires, open enrollment, and terminations/COBRA
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including file maintenance, database updates, tracking and distribution of evaluations, and other HR needs
- Respond to employee and leader inquiries with accurate guidance based on Firm policy language and intent, as well as state and federal employment laws
- Maintain accurate records within the HRIS; query, audit, and compile reports as needed
- Recommend and support process improvements to strengthen efficiency and customer service
