Winnebago Industries is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Management based in Eden Prairie, MN. This role will be responsible for building and leading the Data Management Practice for the enterprise. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing our data strategy and will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end data management lifecycle, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets. The Senior Manager, Data Management role will require a combination of technical understanding, strategic vision, and strong leadership skills to influence and provide thought partnership to our enterprise leaders and key stakeholders.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Build and lead a team of talented data analysts fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
- Partner across the organization to implement master data management best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy of key data entities.
- Establish best practices to build and maintain data quality metrics and continuously improve data quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Advance our data mindset culture across the organization by providing thought partnership to enterprise functional areas and business stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned based on business need.
Critical Competencies
- In depth understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Understanding of approaches and technologies for managing data across the lifecycle (operations through analytics)
- Experience with relevant tools and technologies (e.g. visualization, data catalog…).
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners to navigate complex situations. Can effectively influence and present ideas that lead others to action.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and the ability to do so at all levels.

Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; Masters preferred.
- 8 or more years of related experience, with 6 years of experience in Data Management.
- Proven track record of successful implementations
- This position may require travel to other Winnebago locations.
