Job Title: Core Systems Product Analyst Exempt
FLSA: Exempt
Function: Information Technology
Reports To: Director of Core Systems
Purpose: Serve as a point of support to all Core Systems Product Managers. Manage Core Systems Help Desk Tickets including assignment of tickets and participate with the core team planning, organization, and integration of products, service development and implementation. Assists with research for product/service upgrades including DNA applications and DNA upgrades/releases. Assist Core Systems Product Managers with Strategic and Departmental projects. Support staff in such a way that allows them to provide members with an extraordinary experience in accord with the credit union’s core values and service promise.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with reviewing and monitoring various reports and update data
- Responsible for Help Desk ticket management/assignment to Product Managers
- Perform research to validate accounts, including but not limited to running basic queries in CRM
- Research and merge duplicate profiles in the core system
- Review and monitor various monthly reports, input data changes on accounts
- Ensure required data changes are completed by month end for accurate reporting
- Assist Core Systems Product Managers with the investigation and reconciliation of both staff and members’ questions/concerns with regard to accounts, services and loans
- Assist with the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the credit union’s products and services
- Respond to all staff requests in a timely manner
- Assist in the execution of the credit union’s strategic goals
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and engagement with the external platforms
- Promote and maintain a confidential environment to protect member, employee, and credit union information
- Follow all applicable credit union policies, procedures and requirements, in addition to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Create and promote a positive professional image of one’s self and the credit union
- Ensure that all internal/external audit and compliance procedures are being followed
- Coordinate with departments the appropriate training for upgrades, changes and skill development
- Meet and/or exceed individual and departmental goals
Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience
- (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship
- Financial institution experience and/or credit union experience desired
Skills, Abilities, and other Requirements:
- Strong computer and application skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and grammar skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand and effective manner
- Ability to be bonded required
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to keep up with a busy work flow
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility
- Professional demeanor and personal accountability
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.)
- Occasional travel to off site locations may be required
