About the role:

We are seeking a client-centric leader to direct 1010data’s Collaboration and Data Sharing team to drive success across all 1010data’s portal engagements.  This role requires a broad base of experience spanning Retail, CPG, data analytics, and decision support systems. 

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the challenges facing businesses in today’s dynamic market and knows how to deploy solutions to address the issues and help drive growth for clients.  The incumbent is ethical and acts with integrity under all circumstances.

What you will take on:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

• Create and communicate sales goals and ensure senior leaders are informed on the progress of those goals.
• Ensure Vendor Engagement Managers present 1010data’s capabilities in a clear and concise manner to help prospects understand the value proposition. 
• Become an expert on the 1010data collaboration platform and establish an expectation of team members to become experts on their client-specific platforms.
• Generate a qualified pipeline of new business and upsell opportunities in order to grow the retailer’s Data Sharing Program.
• Responsible for your team’s pipeline; timely processing of contracts and for systemic reporting of pipeline health.
• Form strong customer relationships built on superior client management and unparalleled service.
• Act as trusted advisor to clients/prospect on products, processes, and decisions by working closely within the organization across a number of teams to ensure business needs are met, identifying opportunities, prospective upgrades, and additional solutions. 
• Work closely with 1010data Product teams to improve the product for our customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across 1010data including Finance, Sales Ops, Support, and Product to achieve companywide goals. 

What you already have:

Background & Education

• Strong leadership skills based on successful experience leading high-performing teams.
• Detail-oriented yet able to multi-task effectively to meet expectations of clients, team members and the senior leadership team.
• Customer facing experience selling, presenting, and interfacing with all levels within organizations.
• Retail and CPG experience; deep understanding of primary business functions to include Category Management, Merchandising, Operations, Loyalty Program Analytics, Marketing, Inventory and Supply Chain Management.
• Data-centric background; highly analytical and skilled at data storytelling.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Experience using either the 1010data platform or other data/insights platforms (i.e., syndicated data platforms)
• Bachelor’s degree minimum, MBA preferred

Role is remote and location is flexible. Willingness to travel when necessary.
