Design/UI/UX Intern

We’re hiring a sharp software intern to drive product design engineering & UI/UX for our chip design copilot.

This is an in-person role at our Mountain View office, and can be either part-time or full-time.

This may transition into a full-time role.

What you’ll do:

You will own, enhance, and test key UI/UX (user interfaces/experiences) of Silimate’s copilot. This will entail:

• Building & shipping new UI features/enhancements
• Dogfooding and testing product UI to ensure seamless product experiences for Silimate’s 10+ chip/IP customers
• Collaborating directly with the founders on key engineering/UI decisions

Minimum requirements:

• Available for 15-40 hours/week in-person in Mountain View, CA
• Excited about owning/shipping key tool interfaces for a fast-moving startup’s customers (unicorns and enterprises)
• Proficient (or fast-to-ramp) on coding common user interfaces (VS Code, HTML, etc)
• Good at writing/shipping high-quality code (JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js) quickly
• Resilient, data-driven, and works from first principles
