Compensation Specialist

The Opportunity:  We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist at ACA.

 

What you’ll do:

• Conduct annual market pay analysis to ensure the ACA pay scales reflect the market and are competitive.  Currently this analysis includes the US, UK, Malta and India.
• Lead the annual merit review process in SuccessFactors and then work with the HRIS manager and payroll to ensure the resulting increases are updated as appropriate in the HRIS
• Lead the bi-annual promotion process in SuccessFactors and then work with the HRIS manager and payroll to ensure the resulting promotions are updated as appropriate in the HRIS
• Manage the annual company bonus process including work with Finance on the Plan Year financial results and programming SuccessFactors to calculate the bonuses.  The bonus process also requires an update to the Excel bonus file to ensure the calculations are correct and to handle any exceptions that may arise.
• Perform a Labor Condition Alignment (LCA) as needed to analyze the salaries of employees that joined from an acquisition.  ACA is committed to ensuring all employees are compensated fairly based on skills and responsibilities regardless of their entry path into the firm.
• Work with the Compensation & Benefits Director to develop and maintain an ACA compensation strategy.
• Work with HRIS team to create an annual Total Reward Statement for each employee
• Lead the salary submission for the annual salary surveys
• Manage the ACA 401K and Student Debt programs
• Assist the Benefit Specialist in preparation and execution of open enrollment as needed

 

 

To Qualify for the role, you will have:

• Experience with compensation activities including company bonus, merit and promotions
• Knowledge of annual salary survey processes with outside vendors
• Understanding of compensation structures i.e. ranges, compa-ratios
• Basic knowledge of benefits in particular the financial benefits such as 401K

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Prior experience with SuccessFactors Compensation module
• Prior experience with Ceridian

 

 

Skills and attributes for success:

• Mastery of complex Excel spreadsheets including the use of formulas
• Experience with PowerPoint and skills to create a presentation.
• Ability to work with cross function teams
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments
• Strong team player
